Virtus Camouflage Patterns
Patented concealment engineered terrain by terrain — woodland, arid, urban, water, snow, low light and athletic — across an Operational Series built for the field and a Lifestyle Series built for everyday wear.
Seven patterns
Operational Series
Engineered for maximum concealment in demanding environments. Each pattern is tuned to a specific terrain and light condition, using micro and macro depth geometry to distort the human outline rather than simply match a background. Built for technical gear, tactical apparel and field use. The Operational Series is currently available for licensing — our own apparel line is printed in the Lifestyle patterns. Select any swatch to view it full size.
Tariis
Terrain: Woodland / Forest · Patented
Built for forest environments. Layered organic tones and micro-texture break up the human silhouette against dense vegetation and shifting light, extending the range at which you stay unseen.
Five colors calibrated to the tonal range of desert, scrubland and dry rock. Xeros also mimics the shadow properties of open, barren ground, which is what lets it hold concealment at long range.
The battlefield keeps no hours. NYX uses deep, muted tones to suppress contrast and hold concealment through dusk-to-dawn conditions, when limited light and heightened senses work against you.
Concealment matters most where cover is thin. EKHO blends grey tones with scale-armor geometry to hold an advantage in populated, built-up terrain, regardless of lighting or conditions.
Our athletic pattern, engineered for movement. Dynamic geometry and performance color support a high-output profile, and double as a safety scheme where being seen is the priority, such as rescue operations.
The heritage Virtus palette. The Lifestyle Series carries the same pattern families in a classic multi-terrain treatment with higher visual appeal, formulated for everyday carry, outdoor equipment, vehicle wraps and lifestyle apparel. Versatile concealment, without giving up the look.
Tariis Lifestyle
Terrain: Woodland / Forest · Patented
The forest pattern in the heritage palette. Layered organic tones carry across apparel and equipment without reading as field kit.
Start with the terrain you spend the most time in. Tariis is built for woodland and forest, Xeros for arid and rocky ground, EKHO for urban environments, Delos for water and marine use, Boreas for snow and alpine conditions, and NYX for low light and night. PYRA is the exception — it is an athletic pattern built to be seen rather than hidden.
What is the difference between the Operational and Lifestyle series?
They are the same pattern families in two treatments. The Operational Series is tuned for concealment under pressure and is built into technical gear and tactical apparel. The Lifestyle Series uses the heritage Virtus palette with higher visual appeal, formulated for everyday carry, outdoor equipment, vehicle wraps and lifestyle apparel. Every garment we sell today is printed in a Lifestyle pattern.
Can I license Virtus camouflage patterns for my own products?
Yes. Manufacturers and brands license Virtus patterns for commercial, tactical and sportswear applications. Get in touch and tell us what you are building — we are a small, veteran-owned, family-run team and we read and answer every message ourselves.
Which patterns can I buy apparel in right now?
All Virtus apparel is currently printed in the Lifestyle patterns. Xeros Lifestyle appears in the Astraes Jacket, Kaos Pants and Warrior Baseball Cap; Boreas Lifestyle in the Astraes Jacket and Warrior Baseball Cap; NYX Lifestyle in the Warrior Baseball Cap; and EKHO Lifestyle in the Mitchell Mens Leggings. The Operational Series is available for licensing rather than as finished apparel.
Are Virtus camouflage patterns patented?
Yes. Every pattern in the Virtus collection is covered by our patent, across both the Operational and Lifestyle series. That protection is part of what licensing partners are buying, and we are happy to walk you through exactly what it covers.
